As the sun rises over the historic Fort Worth Stockyards (actually 11am lol), your group gathers at the cozy Country Inn & Suites. Everyone has received their character in advance, complete with costume ideas and backstory, and arrives dressed to impress, ready to bring their role to life. There’s a sense of excitement in the air as the first clue is revealed, setting the stage for a day filled with intrigue.
After a quick ride to the Stockyards, the group watches the legendary cattle drive. Among the cheers, whispers spread—could one of the cowhands know more than they’re letting on? But there’s no time to dwell—gunshots ring out as you move to the next event: a thrilling reenactment of an Old West gunfight. More clues fall into place as the characters' motives begin to take shape.

Afternoon:
After the adrenaline of the morning, the atmosphere lightens. Some of the group kicks off their boots for an optional line dance lesson at Billy Bob’s, while others relax, chat, and soak in the atmosphere of the Stockyards. Laughter fills the air, but just under the surface, the mystery continues to brew.
By early afternoon, you board an 1800s-style stagecoach. The creak of the wheels and clop of horses add to the authentic atmosphere as you keep an eye out for more clues. A challenge awaits at the life-sized Cattle Pen Maze—only the sharpest minds will find their way through while uncovering the next hint toward solving the murder.
As the afternoon continues, participants are free to shop, explore, or relax at the hotel pool, reflecting on the clues gathered so far. The excitement builds as theories and suspicions begin to surface over casual conversations.
Evening:
Everyone regroups for dinner in the Stockyards, the lively atmosphere masking the looming suspense of the unsolved crime. With full stomachs, you head out into the cool night air for a ghost tour through the Stockyards' haunted streets. Shadows stretch long, and the stories told add an eerie thrill to the night. The final pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place, and the tension builds as the group moves closer to solving the mystery.
Night:
Back at the hotel, pajamas on and popcorn in hand, the group gathers for the final showdown. With all the clues gathered and each character fully immersed in their role, accusations are made, and the culprit is revealed in a dramatic finale. The night wraps up with laughter, popcorn, and one final scary movie to cap off the event—an evening filled with suspense, mystery, and fun, leaving everyone buzzing with stories to tell.
