Our mission is to inspire women to embrace a life full of adventure and connection, unlocking their full potential along the way.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grant Specialist to join our team on a commission-only basis. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, with full flexibility to choose and pursue grant opportunities that align with Adventure Ladies’ mission. You’ll help secure funding that will support and expand our programs, allowing us to impact more women through our transformative experiences.

Position Overview:

The Grant Specialist will be responsible for identifying, researching, and applying for grants from foundations, government agencies, and other funding organizations. This role is fully commission-based, with competitive percentages offered based on the value of awarded grants. The specialist will have full autonomy to work on their own schedule, with no set deadlines or requirements from Adventure Ladies, as long as the grant fits the organization’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently research and identify grant opportunities that align with Adventure Ladies' mission and goals.

• Develop and write compelling grant proposals, ensuring all required information and documentation is included.

• Prepare detailed budgets for grant proposals and ensure proposals meet funders' requirements.

• Manage the grant application process from start to submission, including all communication with funders.

• Track submitted grants and follow up on the status of applications.

• Ensure compliance with all grant reporting and expenditure requirements, as needed.

• Collaborate with the founder on strategic goals to guide grant applications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in researching, writing, and securing grants for nonprofits or community-based projects.

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple applications at once.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

• Experience in women’s empowerment, wellness, or travel-related grants is a plus.

Compensation:

This is a fully commission-based role with competitive percentages paid after grants are awarded and funds are disbursed from organizational funds. The commission structure is as follows:

• 20% commission on grants up to $50,000

• 15% commission on grants between $50,001 - $100,000

• 10% commission on grants over $100,000
